Mark Cuban issues blistering Trump takedown

Billionaire and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban — a stanch Donald Trump critic — issued this week four reasons why he refuses to vote for the former president in November's election.

Cuban's latest criticism of the MAGA hopeful comes after business expert and Yale School of Management professor Jeffrey Sonnenfeld earlier this week revealed in a New York Times op-ed that Trump has the "lowest level of corporate support" in the Republican party's history.

In his Trump takedown, Cuban was replying to Canadian author and marketing at Concordia University marketing professor Gad Saad, who wrote via X (formerly Twitter):

Me: Why do you hate Trump?

Progressive: He is a threat to democracy.

Me: How?

Progressive: He has yet to relinquish power.

Me: Really? He's still occupying the White House?

Progressive: No, but he's not conceded.

Me: Has Hillary not repeatedly stated that Trump was an illegitimate president?

Progressive: Well yes, but she said the word "conceded."

Me: What else do you not like about him?

Progressive: He is an existential threat.

Me: How? He was president for four years and it turned out ok.

Progressive: Yes, but it's in the second term that he'll show his Hitlerian colors.

Me: What else?

Progressive: He is not fit to be president. He is crazy.

Me: Is Biden fit to be president in terms of his cognitive acuity?

Progressive: It's impossible to converse with you. You are a right-wing extremist.

In response, Cuban replied:

Me: He ripped off thousands of hard working Americans with Trump University, he put vendors out of business and didn't pay his bills

You: But all business people do that

Me: He didn't want to leave the WH. He called the Ga.Sec of State and asked for 11780 votes. He demanded that VP Pence not certify the election.

You: But he did leave!

Me: He said this week any immigrant who graduates from a 2 or 4 yr school gets a green card.

You: That's smart, but there is no way he will do it.

Me: He said he would charge a 10% tariff on all imported goods.

You: Yeah, but China will pay for it

Me: You don't see anything wrong with any of these things ?

You: You have TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome)

Newsweek notes that "TDS" is "a term that supporters of the former president use to describe individuals who are highly critical of Trump."
