'Full white-power': Trump lawyer blasted for blatant 'racism' during PA rally

Just hours after Donald Trump said to a room of Black journalists that he "didn't know" Vice President Kamala Harris "was Black until a number of years ago," one of the ex-president's lawyers also suggested that she also doesn't know the presumptive Democratic nominee is Black.

Alina Habba, who represented the MAGA hopeful in his New York civil fraud case earlier this year, spoke at her former client's Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania rally Wednesday, telling rally-goers: "I am a strong woman. A mom, a lawyer, and an American."

The MAGA ally continued, "And unlike you, Kamala, I know who my roots are, I know where I come from, and I don't play around with the constitution."

Several journalists and political experts immediately slammed the Trump lawyer for her "weird" remarks.

Democratic strategist Adam Parkhomenko said: "This afternoon was apparently just a warmup for this evening’s racism"

USA Today columnist Rex Huppke commented: Jeeeeeeesus. I guess they looked at Kamala Harris' polling surge and said, "F*ck it, let's go full white-power movement."

Media Matters for America writer Eric Kleefeld wrote: "The Republican Party is now officially running on a campaign that you can’t trust biracial people."
