'Trump tried to steal your vote!' Senator reminds GA voters of ex-president’s misconduct



US Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) on Tuesday addressed voters during Vice President Kamala Harris' rally in Atlanta Tuesday, reminding them that former President Donald Trump attempted to overturn the 2020 election in their state.

The MAGA hopeful was criminally charged last year by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, along with 18 other Trump allies info their efforts to interfere with the presidential election.

"A Florida man called into Georgia and said 'I need 11,870 votes," Warnock said to the energized crowd. "I want you to think about that,. Georgia, Donald Trump tried to steal your vote. Kamala Harris is trying to earn your vote! And she's been doing it."

Warnock, who's also the pastor of Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church — home church to Martin Luther King Jr. — continued, "This struck me with a certain kind of deep, deep frustration, as a Christian pastor — I heard Donald Trump say to a Christian group that 'If you vote for me, you won't ever have to worry about voting again. And he said that like that was some good news.

The Georgia senator emphasized, "We are the state of [former US Rep.] John Lewis (D-GA). We are the home state of [civil rights activists] Andrew Young and CT Vivian. We are the home state of Martin Luther King Jr., and you dare say to me that if you vote for me, you won't have to vote again?"

Warnock added, "That doesn't sound like freedom. That sounds like bondage. And so this campaign, folks, is about freedom. We want freedom right? I you want freedom, you Gott vote like you've never voted before!"
