Supercut of 'desperate' Donald's bribery accusations unveiled by Trump family insider

President Donald Trump's attempts to bribe voters into supporting his Republican Party during the 2026 midterms is backfiring on him, at least according to his own niece, psychologist Dr. Mary L. Trump.
"Among all of the nonsensical things that have come out of Donald’s mouth, we’re starting to see some real desperation," Trump said on Tuesday. "I wanna show you a collection of some of the outrageous promises Donald has been making to his crowds, also kind of known as bribes, about how much money they’re going to get if they simply vote Republican. Let’s take a look and we’ll talk about it on the other side."
The niece's supercut showed Trump saying, on various occasions, "They just sent out nearly one million refund checks for $500 each. 20 million seniors on Medicare will soon be receiving a deposit of nearly $100 directly into their bank accounts. I am going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America $5,000. It’s only if we win, don’t... We gotta win. If the Republicans win the Department of War, we’ll be investing a hundred million dollars in the pharmaceutical company, Anthea. If we win the House and the Senate, I am directing the Department of Justice to settle all remaining legitimate claims as soon as possible. With Roger Marshall in the Senate, we will make year round E15 permanent, but if Adam Hamilton is in, I’m not doing it. That’s it."
The psychologist then commented, "Yeah, as I said, bribes. That is not legal, what he’s doing there. That’s a form of election interference. And here’s the other thing, he’s been in office for almost two years now. Why hasn’t he done anything in that time to help mitigate the disastrous impact of his failed economic policies? Speaking of which, the economy is the number one issue on voters’ minds, which is usually the case, unfortunately, but this year it is not hard to understand why."
She also observed that former President Barack Obama's insult of Trump's renovations of the White House, saying that it looked like a Cheesecake Factory for Saddam Hussein, stung because Trump is jealous of Obama.
"The White House to President Obama is a symbol of America," President Trump said at one point. "It has to be clean for you to say it’s a cheesecake factory that just shows why you were a lousy president. And I would try and explain that to a guy like Obama, but he wouldn’t understand."
Mary Trump quipped, "Well, that makes more sense though. I didn’t realize that Donald’s penchant for destroying beautiful things was a way of Zen meditation for him."
Mary Trump is not alone in noticing that Trump's seeming corruption is alienating voters. Earlier in October, political scientist and polling expert Larry Sabato posted on X that "corruption is moving the needle whenever voters are focused on the explosion of greed and self-enrichment by Trump and his family—easily the worst in presidential history,." A survey in September found that even most Trump supporters were dubious that his $5,000 dividend would ever actually be paid, and a former official for President Joe Biden who oversaw the Social Security program described the supposed welfare plan as nothing short of "bribery."
"I don’t think that’s socialism or capitalism, that’s bribery," former Social Security Commissioner Martin O'Malley told AlterNet earlier in October. "That’s paying people to vote a certain way. If he stood outside a polling place in Baltimore and around the corner from it was offering to give people $5,000 to vote for him, they’d put handcuffs on him, if he were a citizen. So that’s not capitalism or socialism, that’s just straight-up bribery."
